Details

FIA (Feminine Intelligence Agency) is a social-impact nonprofit that produces original research and educational tools on coercive control and women’s agency. Our challenge is that this knowledge often stays in reports rather than reaching the diverse audiences who need it most.

We would like students to design a sophisticated, AI-enabled pipeline that translates FIA’s research into digital content for different audiences. This will involve:

  • Familiarizing themselves with FIA’s mission, outputs, and target audiences.
  • Segmenting audiences and recommending content channels for each group (e.g., women at risk, educators, clinicians, policymakers).
  • Researching and testing AI and digital tools for summarization, visualization, SEO, and social media scheduling.
  • Developing and documenting a step-by-step process to transform FIA research into public-facing content efficiently.
  • Creating tested prompts, templates, and sample outputs that FIA can reuse to produce high-quality, large-volume content.

Bonus steps would include:

  • Testing the workflow with actual FIA research and refining it based on results.
  • Measuring efficiency gains (e.g., time saved per piece of content vs. manual production).

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Clear understanding of FIA’s mission, outputs, and audiences.
  • Audience segmentation and tailored channel strategies.
  • Development and testing of AI prompts and workflows that can scale content production.
  • Evaluation of different software solutions and recommendations for FIA. This should be a complete tech stack and step-by-step instructions of how we can bulk produce quality content.
  • Production of prototype outputs (social posts, SEO summaries, dashboards) to demonstrate the workflow in action.

Bonus steps would include:

  • Iterating prototypes based on FIA feedback.
  • Delivering ethical/strategic guidelines for AI use in FIA’s context.

Final deliverables should include

  • A segmentation framework mapping FIA’s audiences to recommended channels/content types.
  • A workflow playbook (research → prompts → outputs → scheduling → analytics).
  • A set of reusable AI prompts and templates designed for FIA.
  • Prototype content outputs for each target audience.
  • A 10-minute presentation summarizing findings, workflow, and recommendations.
